Smoke Testing

Crews will be conducting smoke testing in the areas of The Forest at Mallory Creek and The Courtyards at Mallory Creek beginning the week of May 17, 2021.

What is smoke testing and why is it necessary?

Smoke testing involves setting up a blower then pumping non-toxic, simulated smoke through a community's sanitary sewer line. The smoke is pressurized and follows the path of any leaks within the system – revealing points of entry for I&I and helping to reduce unnecessary wastewater flow.

Statement on H2GO, Belville Dropping Appeals in Effort to Resume Construction of RO Plant

2/26/2020 11:44:57 AM

Brunswick Regional Water and Sewer H2GO and the Town of Belville submitted motions to withdraw their appeals of Judge Charles Henry’s April 2019 decision to return to H2GO the assets currently held by the Town of Belville.  The motions come after a settlement agreement was reached and agreed upon by H2GO and the Town of Belville.  The motions to withdraw the appeals are the next step in an effort to resolve the two-year-long legal battle.  H2GO seeks the quickest path to quickly resume construction of the aquifer-sourced RO water plant and to provide clean, safe water to its customers.
