Billing Update
7/1/2020 9:42:00 AM
Upon further examination, customer bills are correct.
So why do some bills appear higher this month?
1) Last month we billed some areas that had received new meters based on average usage to ensure bills were sent out in a timely manner. Some instances resulted in an underbilling, which corrected on this billing cycle.
2) The billing cycle for this bill was five weeks instead of the normal four weeks.
3) We have noticed a trend of higher water usage among our customer base.
After searching tirelessly to find the cause of concern from many of our customers, these three factors are the cause for increased bills. Customers who have further questions are encouraged to call our customer service department at 910-371-9949 and our customer service representatives will walk you through your bill.
