Active Capital Projects
Brunswick Regional Water and Sewer currently has two capital projects in various stages of completion.
The first being a 1.6 Million Gallon per Day Waste Water Treatment Plant. This plant will replace the existing Belville Waste Water Treatment Plant that has a capacity of 400 thousand Gallons per Day and was originally construct in 1989. The new plant will be a McNeill extended aeration plant designed by W. Lee Fleming, Jr. Engineering and Vaughn & Melton Consulting Engineers.
Our second project underway is a 1.0 Million Gallon Elevated Finished Water Storage tank is being built to maintain consistent water pressure across the District during times of high usage coupled with the construction of this tank is a booster pump station that will be used in conjunction with the elevated tank to maintain adequate water pressure for the Sanitary District’s customers. The design work for both the elevated tank and booster station is being done by The Wooten Company Engineering, Planning and Architecture.
